In the studio, Quicksilver took the themes of Duncan's piece and redid them with an extended introduction, a different cadenza by Duncan, guitar and bass feedback, a brief interlude that rises out of the feedback, and a closing melody, played staccato , that fades out.
In addition, Duncan lays down his electric guitar to play an acoustic guitar during the brief interlude, and then takes up the electric one again. The band also sings wordless vocals in harmony. Duncan shouts, "Call it anything you want! The album sleeve says that "Calvary" was recorded "live" at Golden State Recorders , meaning that none of this was dubbed.

There was also substantial editing and additional overdubbing done at Golden State Recorders to both sides of the record. As a coda, the band performs the theme tune from Roy Rogers ' western television show, which lends its title to the album. While briefly remarking that all four songs on the second side are excellent, Greil Marcus devoted most of his review in Rolling Stone to extensive discussion of the side-long rendition of "Who Do You Love? Retrospective reviews have also been highly positive.
Head Heritage ' s Julian Cope strongly approved of the decision to have most of the album devoted to Bo Diddley covers, saying Diddley's "amplified cigar box and ever-shifting shuffle beat lent itself easily to interpretations of extended electric guitar-based improvisations".

Especially in the Reverse Harem world which tends to be littered with poorly researched fantasy novels that are really just a shameless excuse for a gang bang.

I love how Locke is aware of her fear and knows her weaknesses and strengths. She fucks up in big ways but she is coming to grips with herself. She still has her own free will and acts upon it and then suffers the consequences of her actions.
She isn't infallible. She doesn't understand everything. But she is out there doing her best and therefore, I support her. She is being asked to save the world with very few tools or incentives to do so. Locke isn't superwoman. She is a regular woman with a lot of baggage and a lot of power that she didn't want in the first place. She reacts like a panicky human which is absolutely perfect.
I don't want to get too far into this review because spoilers but this is one of the few RH books in recent weeks that actually has me wanting to finish the series. View all 4 comments.
